"Consciously or unconsciously we are all utterly selfish, and so long as we get what we want we consider everything is all right. But the moment an event takes place to shatter all this, we cry out in despair, hoping to find other comforts which, of course, will again be shattered. 
So this process goes on, and if you want to be caught in it, knowing full well all the implications of it, then go ahead. 
But if you see the absurdity of it all, then you will naturally stop crying, stop isolating yourself, and live with a new light and with a smile on your face."
